Dallas was almost the last person in his group of friends to settle down and get married. Everyone thought the impossible had happened, but now the impossible really has happened! The last of the last, Teddy Hall, got married this weekend. We spent the weekend in Fayetteville to attend the wedding and to visit with Carl and Georgia. It was a nice, relaxing weekend.
Unfortunately, the wedding (and our visit) did not coincide with days off for Carl and Georgia, so we didn’t get to see them as much as we would have liked. Due to some changes at the tower, Carl has to work more evening and weekend shifts than usual, and this was Georgia’s Saturday to work. However, there were plenty of projects to keep Dallas busy and being away from home kept me from obsessing about my list of baby to do’s. It was great to have the opportunity to visit before the arrival of Rowdy when traveling will get much more challenging!
Teddy and Lavon’s wedding was just about perfect. The Hall’s hosted the wedding in their lovely home. The atmosphere was happy and friendly and comfortable. The Hall’s are such a wonderful family, and we were so pleased to attend.
