Crib Notes - Week 30

Happy Valentines Day, everyone!  I think this is a great week.  A special time for extra hugs and kisses.  Mommy says hugs and kisses make little boys grow, but I don't know if that is true.  If it were, I'd be as big as this house!  Mommy and Daddy hug and kiss me all the time!  And lots of times they say a particular hug or kiss is from Sassy or Aunt Shay or Mama Shoe.

YaYa didn't have to send her hugs through Mommy this week because she came to see me.  She made me laugh and helped me eat my toes!  I still love my toes!  I wanted YaYa to stay so we could keep playing, but she had to go to meetings.

Sassy sent me a book for Valentine's Day.  I love to read.  Mommy and I sat in the floor and read about the 5 Silly Monkeys until I was sleepy.  Mommy is also supposed to take me to Target to buy a toy!  And after we go to Target, maybe we can stop by McDonalds for that Happy Meal Mama Shoe and Poppie promised me.  They said a big boy like me with two teeth should be able to eat a Happy Meal.

Mommy says this is a really big week because it is the week her hair is supposed to stop falling out.  Speaking of hair.  Mommy says I have the exact same hairline that Daddy had when he was a little baby.  She tells me to enjoy my beautiful soft hair now because I probably have only 25 years to enjoy it.  Twenty-five years!  Wow!  That's a loooonng time.  I'll probably be tired of my hair after that long.

I may have to reconsider my prior statement  that I didn't want to eat anything off of a spoon.  Have you tried sweet potatoes.  I mean, really!!  Sweet potatoes made me happy all the way down to my wiggly, little toes!  I still stick by my statement that carrots are yucky!  Mrs. Fran made me eat them.  But honestly, why would anyone eat carrots when they could eat sweet potatoes?

  1. Gigi and gramps are very sorry they could not send hugs and kisses and were not able bring some to Austin in person. Being so far away they get left out of his life a lot and it makes them very sad.

  2. This is just wonderful. Austin gets prettier all the time, and you do the most wonderful job describing everything. To backtrack a little, the picture in the bath tub was wonderful. Mama Shoe
